The last week of June 2022 will mark a year since we started renting our luxury Log Home. There is no other log home vacation rental like ours at Newfound Lake or for that matter in the Lakes Region. We are so proud to have all five-star reviews and have worked hard to exceed your expectations.
One of the most exciting things this past year was being featured in Log Home Living Magazine. This was an honor to be picked from the over 30k log homes built yearly. We also launched an amazing website built by Jessica Laaper which you can visit at www.eagleridgeloghome.com The website is packed with information to help you not only plan for your stay but also serve as a guide when you arrive at Eagle Ridge.
The view from our home is absolutely breathtaking and no photo can capture the beauty you witness in person. So many of you have expressed these exact words to us in your reviews. My favorite thing to do is to get up early and watch the beautiful sunrise come over the Plymouth Mountain as the sun shines in through our wall of windows.
We have had so many animal visitors walking through our 3.5-acre lot. Many days in the winter we had over twenty deer all around the house. The deer are so comfortable and relaxed that they actually will bed down in plain sight of our log home. The other animal highlights have been a couple bears, lots of turkeys and moose. We are surrounded by beautiful birds because the Newfound Lake bird sanctuary is located right below us. Whether you’re at the fire pit or on the screened porch at night we love hearing the calming sounds of the loons on Newfound Lake.
Our log home has made so many memories for your families and we can’t thank you enough for the way you have treated our home. You have left special keepsakes at our home that we treasure and will be there for others to enjoy. These include a custom-made Eagle Ridge ornament during Christmas time, beautiful log home decorations and board games people wanted to add to our collection.
